JBJ Financial Services ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, email us at jjohnson@jbjfinancialservices.com and we will explain it.

What we collect

We collect information you choose to give us:

Resource requests. When you request a guide or other gated resource, we ask for your first name and email address so we can deliver it.
Scheduling. When you book a Coverage Review, scheduling is handled by Calendly, which collects the name, email, and any notes you provide when booking.
Direct contact. If you email us, we receive whatever information you include.
Chat assistant. Questions you type into the educational chat assistant are processed by Easy-Peasy.AI, the service that powers it. Please don't share sensitive personal, financial, or health information in the chat.

This website does not use advertising trackers, and we do not collect health or financial account information through this site. Insurance applications happen on separate, secure carrier and quoting platforms, never through these pages.

How we use it

To send you the resource you requested.
To respond when you contact us or book a review.
To occasionally share educational material we think is genuinely useful. You can opt out at any time.

What we don't do

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. The only sharing that happens is with the service providers needed to run this site, described below.

Third-party services

This site relies on a small number of outside services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

Calendly for scheduling Coverage Reviews.
Easy-Peasy.AI for the educational chat assistant.
BackNine Insurance for the online quoting and application platform, which you reach by following the quote links on this site.
Google Fonts for the typefaces on this site, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers.
MailerLite for storing and processing the names and email addresses you provide through signup forms on this site. We use this information to deliver requested resources and send follow-up educational communications, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Unsubscribing and deletion

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also simply email jjohnson@jbjfinancialservices.com at any time to unsubscribe, ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. We will honor deletion requests unless we are required to keep a record for legal or regulatory reasons, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Security and retention

We keep the personal information described here only as long as it is needed for the purposes above, and we take reasonable steps to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be noted plainly, not buried.
